Our goal is to publish N Due Season greeting cards in more than 30 languages and distribute them in more than 100 countries. N Due Season will produce an extensive collection of greeting cards, blank journals, calendars, note pads and original paintings and their reproductions. Our desire is to print our products on paper from sustainably managed forests and use recycled paper and environmentally friendly processing methods.
Barbara Mason, creator of N Due Season resides in Frisco, Texas. She is married to James Mason, with a daughter, Christian, and son James W. Mason JR. of Chicago, Illinois. With James, she travels nationally to events each year to display her art and develop kinship with other artists.
Barb is a well-known "Master Watercolorist". She works in various media, including watercolor, pastel and clay, with watercolor as her dominating passion. She recently completed several thematic wall murals in Springfield, Las Vegas and California. She has displayed her artwork in Springfield, Peoria, Batavia, Chicago, and Bloomington, Illinois.: Cleveland , OH.; Atlanta and Norcross, GA.; Las Vegas, NV.; Philadelphia, PA.; Wilmington, DE., Texas, California and Virginia.
She is a juried member of The National Association Of Women Artist (Washington D.C. and Florida Chapters), and the Frisco Visual Arts Guild.
From an African-American perspective, she shares her heritage through artistic symbolism and utilizes captivating color and provoking images that focus on the family and common surroundings that illuminate the spirit in all of us. In 2001 and 2002, she received a recognition citation from Secretary of State Jesse White for contribution in the celebration of Black History Month. In 2003, Barb was a national juried artist at the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta, Georgia and at the October Gallery International Expo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2004 as a Master Watercolorist, she received recognition at the Dusable Museum of African American History.
In 2005 Barbara was commissioned by a national greeting card company, who have licensed 12 images of Barbara's artwork for all occasion greeting cards, note cards, calendars and various other stationary products.
She is owner of Sound Integrity, where she is an advanced OB/GYN, Diagnostic and Vascular ultrasound specialist. During her 25-year career in radiology, she was the former Ultrasound Department Manager and Ultrasound Clinical Instructor at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.
In her spare time Barb enjoys interior designing, gardening, and listening to jazz and gospel music. Noted artists such as Don Landry, Dean Mitchell, Steve Hanks, Poncho Brown and Sandy Meyer have fueled her artistic abilities.
